Don’t give up man! When I was your age I face the same situation but during that time I prayed, I fasted, and read as much as I could. God brought me through like he said he would. He said he will never leave us nor forsake us. Even in the times when we feel all alone he is still there, when we go through the fire he is right there with us. Felt like God wanted me to encourage you man!

I'm still amazed by how many times I failed myself to be a better person, and be a Christian teenager, it surprised me that I still think about Jesus despite failing my own feelings... So, I do pray for myself and pray for the others for their evaluation and revelation... Everytime I saw and met a non-believer, I just hoped that they would come around... :3

This song has been a such blessing to me. I was driving from the mental hospital where my son was going to stay, God put in my heart to play this song over and over! I have prayed Isaiah 63 Beauty for Ashes for my son for years. Today he is working on his PHD at OSU, after he quit OSU at first to go to Bible College then went back and was picked to attend thru a very competitive program. My point..... he was even shot at some years ago and the bullet lodged in his driver seat but didn't hit him.......so God does hear a mother's prayer I am proof! Keep believing everyday. Father we come in agreement for Cody's family. Your word says "Whatever we ask in prayer believing we shall receive" and we are believing for miracles and breakthroughs in Jesus Precious Name. Amen! Cody God is ALWAYS Faithful HE has done so much in my family thru faithful praying and fasting. Even if it look impossible just remember we are children of the God of possibilities. Guys can anyone please pray for my mom : ( stones just got removed from her gal bladder last week and now in addition, she is suffering from pneumonia and lung water we didnt really know what caused it... i really need your prayers. As I was reading the comments I see that so many people are criticizing the Van Halen t-shirt. Why does it matter what he wears?? How does the shirt he's wearing affect anyone's life. It for sure didn't have an impact on my life. While others see the shirt he is wearing, I see a man leading an amazing worship service that is changing peoples lives. Matthew 7:1-2 says "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you". Who are we to judge?? ”My God made me a promise and it won't stop now" AMEN!!! Thank you Jesus for Elevation worship, they are a truly blessing for a lot of souls out in the world.

It matters because of who it represents. This song is powerful, sung by a man set free, that much is true. No one is judging his faith or sincerity - at least I hope not - but I am questioning his choice to wear a shirt and essentially advertise a secular group. Those weaker in their faith may not know the band in his shirt. They may go looking for the music and listen to it thinking that if it's good enough for this worship leader then it must be okay. As worship leaders and Christ's ambassadors we MUST represent Him well and not cause others to stumble in the slightest way.
