atomic heart game released this year, used the same tech to make every human/robot fight in the game as real as possible, plus added some super human/robot moves like hovering in the mid air and throwing tentacles to wrap around human necks, room furniture, ripping guns out of first person shooter, reloading gun magazines remotely, power jumps left and right to avoid punches - basically everything with this new point tracking tech - it's still improving as we speak - but just look at it how the surrounding points are used to position overlapping points motion - awesome!

Yeah, but those can be fixed with a simple roto and the same tool that does everything gives you a perfect roto of every human you select on screen. So you could just export the roto matte of the other dudes and make it go in front of the CGI character when it's apropiate.

Better yet - build the masking issues into the storyline or vfx of the character. Assume the robot has some kind of projector that puts up a false appearance over itself, like a hologram, and in the course of the fight, this projector was damaged so it flickers in and out constantly. Add some sound FX and boom, you've got a finished product.

0:43 (а так же во многих других местах) - внутреннее "я" робота вырвалось наружу. :) Такие же "роботы" работают на "Boston dynamics", только у них артефактов поменьше. :)

Well the input is a single camera video... The software on itself seems to: - Make a cleanplate to remove the original actor - Motion track that actor - Retarget that animation on a rig - Composite it back in the video Given it targets VFX people I guess it outputs to you: - A clean plate of the original footage - A rough mask of the actor (that it used to remove it) - An FBX or whatever of the Camera Animation + the Actor Animation Given that, you have a pretty solid foundation to further enhance it yourself. Until now all these steps are sure faster then they used to but still pretty boring and time consuming.... I was on the hater side of WD but seeing this kind of changed my mind.
