Despite this only being slightly better than Man of Steel (I personally enjoyed Bruce and Diana's scenes way more than Clark's), I'll never forget what it was like watching this scene in the theater. I already knew she was Wonder Woman, but what really surprised me was seeing that 1918 photo - basically, the fact that she's ageless! I thought 'Ohh, sh*t!' when I realized it was like a callback to the 1970s show, when season one took place in World War II. Meanwhile, I heard my mom say in awe, "Wonder Woman!" and my sister later told me she was disappointed in this reveal, because she thought that was Selina Kyle/Catwoman. And, the theme. I could tell that this music was like a tribute to one of comic book's most iconic superheroines.

This scene was great cause "Wow! Wonder Woman!" but it's so much more significant than that cause this was the first lead in to the rest of the Justice League in movies as well. We don't see the files opened till later, but this was the first reference.

I love those old photos where people doesn't smile. This one in particular is majestic.

God this makes me wish they took more time to tease all the characters. That sense of mystery as it cuts from the modern footage to a century old monochrome picture. Then the sense of awe and wonder of how the image implies shes a warrior myth throughout the ages.
