Leo, I think Wonderful Precure might also have a sub-theme hidden in plain sight, and that would be Alice in Wonderland and the secuel Alice through the Mirror, as I noticed some of the characters could be inspired by them: -Koumugi / Cure Wonder would be inspired in both the Puppy and the Queen of Hearts, as her headband turns into a Crown with the shape of a heart. -Iroha / Cure Friendy would be inspired in Alice, as she turns into a blond girl and her headband takes the shape of an english detective hat from decades ago, this could be a represent Alice's curiosity in Cure Friendy's design. -Cure Nyammy seems to have two inspirations like Wonder: the Chesire Cat and the White Queen, as she is a cat and also has white in her design despite being blue and her headband is a crown. -Mayu / Cure Lillian could be based on the Hatter, as she has the same type of top hats used by the Hatter in the story. -Lastly, Daifuku could be based on the White Rabbit that guides Alice to Wonderland, and maybe he could be the King of Hearts(?). If he ends up as a Cure, he could be maybe White 👀 With Satoru I don't know what character he could be, maybe the dodo or the Knave of Hearts 😅 Also, Alice in Wonderland and the secuel had antropormophyc animals like Wonderful and Nyannmy, and also the secuel theme was around mirrors, like the transformation device and the big mirror stone were Koumugi, Iroha, Satoru and Daifuku met.

The circle on the back of Daifuku's head may not be clear. It could be a circle from this view, but with a real close-up, we could see a heart

I remember seeing a logo for WanPre that featured a yellow ribbon and a white crystal heart in the center, my money's on Satoru and Daifuku both being midseasons since the theme is the bonds of pets and owners so they fit that theme too.

wrt: the pouches, there's a sixth colour of note--the silvery-cyan around the sides that kinda looks like the same shade as the ribbon Daifuku wears. I mean... you wouldn't give us a third pet-owner duo in a season where this is the established setup, give that pet the same type of eyes as Komugi and Yuki, include them in the earliest promo art alongside the known Cures, leave two conspicuous spaces in some recent Cure-group-shot promo art, and then NOT have Satoru and Daifuku be the midseasons, would you? WOULD YOU??

Satoru has yellow in his clothes, so his colour code would match with the theory of a yellow cure. In the cure wiki, Daifuku is described being male. Maybe we will get two male cures. It would be so awesome.

Daifuku is confirmed to be a boy, I'm fairly certain from what I have seen. I think that Satoru will probably be the mid season cure. He is in the main artwork with the other girls, so thats not just like meaningless, the same happened with Takumi in Delicious Party. I do like you pointing out that Daifuku seems to have a circle on the back of his head, which could be a heart from that distance, but he has heart shaped pupils, like the other main pets. If Satoru and Daifuku become cures they likely wont have the same type of transformation items as the other 4. This season gives very Healing Good vibes when it comes to Cure's (aside from the animal partners), so thats my thoughts on it.

Looking at this after Lilian's debute and man, you really were on the dot with her coming out in June. I'm surprised we haven't found the mid seasons yet but I'm excited to see what'll happen.

What if The Mid-Season Cure is actually a Duo?, like if we believe Satarou and Daifuku are part of the Mid-Season Cure, I think it would be cool. Although this is just my opinion

I'm definitely betting that Satoru and Daifuku will be the mid season cures, but I'm okay if we get a different character for the mid season cures, I'll be happy either way ^^ As for Lillian and Nyammy I think because of episode 4 where we properly introduced to both of them and also just after you uploaded this, Precure News on Twitter posted the fifth episode title is revealed that Wonderful and Friendy will get the Friendship Tact which is on 3rd march, i think their debut as Precures will happen earlier like say episode 10 ^^ Great video as always ^^

If I can add to this, there's a detail that makes me think that Satoru and Daifuku may actually be mid-season cures. But during the transformation sequences, you can see the colors of each cure on the wonderful pact Wonderful- A light pink bow Friendy- A darker pink bow (ik it's supposed to be purple but yk) Lillian- A teal teardrop Nyammy- A light blue music note So on the next row there's a yellow crescent moon as well as a dark blue four-leaf clover. I'm not sure how a crescent moon can connect to Satoru but I can say for sure that the four-leaf clover is representative to Daifuku, whose name means basically means great luck with the four-leaf clover being a sign of good luck. I noticed these details on a rewatch of episode 3 and thought it was some possible foreshadowing for these two to be the 3rd duo after Nyammy and Lillian!

I believe midseason is going to be Satoru. Im probably completely wrong, but the Cures always wear their theme color and Satoru is wearing an orange shirt(Tsubasa is also orange). He's also in Iroha's class & a lot of past season Cures have shared the same class with each other. What I think might happen is that Daifuku is going to either be in danger or get turned into a monster which will cause Satoru to act and awaken his powers to save his bunny friend! Again, I could be completely wrong, but those are just my hunches!

I think it’s going to be Satoru (orange) and Daifuku (yellow) because they always come in duos in this season and in the title there are colors of the cures (pink, purple, blue, green, yellow and orange) and in the episode from today, ep 23, I feel that they talked a little about Daifuku which doesn’t happen much

I really think that the midseason precure is gonna be Satoru and Daifuku, taking into account that this season's precures are the pet and the owner, and they are a pet and a owner, so I think that Satoru will be the orange cure and Daifuku probably the Yellow or White cure. I'll be very upset if it's another character instead, I want more male cures 😭😭, I really hope they don't do the same think they did with Butterfly turn her into the midseason precure

I will hope with all hope that Satoru and Daifuku are the mid season duo with the shared color of yellow. I personally feel that Nyammy and Lillian will debut at the end of March early April, with a midseason duo debuting in June or July.

I'm hoping we get Nyammy & Lillian sooner than later. So my prediction is Nyammy & Lillian in April, Mid-season Cure(s) in July, Power-Ups in September/October!

My bet is Lillian and Nyammy in April with the Nyammy Pact and the Lillian Tact! Maybe their items will be covers for the existing items that will update the items for having them? I dunno honestly!

I’m betting Nyammy and Lillian are coming in April or May. Typically, plot-relevant toys hit the shelves the day before the relevant episode airs. The talking doll of Yuki, with accessories and such, is coming out the day before episode 10, which is airing in April.

I sometimes hope and wonder if Satoru and his pet rabbit Daifuku could end up becoming Pretty Cures in the mid season. If they do, I wonder what their theme colors would be 🤔.

I think Satoru and Daifuku are the mid season Cure, they are in the promotional art and Satoru is important to the team. I think as much people crave a power up, unless the GaruGarus become stronger than the 4 Soon six can handle, I can see a power up, but likely tied to a group attack

If the rabbit and the guy don't become cures, i'll be dissapointed! Beside Wing and Waffles, there's no boy cure; one is is entirely part of the team. We need more! Also, it will be the first time there's 6 cures. It's often 4; Fresh, Suite, Heartcatch or 5: Smile, Hugto, Tropical rouge, Star twinkle etc. Would be cool that Wing is not alone 🙂

Satoru(悟) and Daifuku(大福) are written in Kanji ; All main cure's given name after happiness charge are written in kana. As a consequence Satoru and Daifuku will not be the Midseason.
