I'm 66. Growing up on watching Bugs Bunny in prime-time TV (weekday evenings), BEFORE Saturday Morning became popular. I STILL watch them. Over 30 years ago, I realized: Those cartoons were NOT originally made "just" for kids. Before TV, they played in the theatres, between the features. They include jokes and gags that only an adult could fully understand and appreciate.

And William Tell Overture was The Lone Ranger theme, lol.
@roseolivas08Ай бұрын
That's actually why they're called "looney tunes" instead of "toons"! Because they were specifically animated to classical pieces :)

As opposed to other conductors who do not "actually" conduct? And what makes this performance so "incredible"? Seriously. I often see such innocuous statements and wonder if people know what they are talking about, or they just like to talk. Give me specifics as to adherence to tempo, timbre, attack, voicings and so forth. Thanks.
