I was born with a deformity and I have the hardest time accepting myself due to my lack of normalcy this song has spoken to my heart. I am wonderfully made I will sing this song over and over to constantly remind me whose I am. Thank you

My mother was horribly abused in every way by her father. She just lost my dad who was the love of her life for near 40 years. Thank you for a song that helps her see herself through her true father's eyes. It helps replace all the lies of the enemy! This song is such a gift from God. I lost my husband to cancer last year and this song has had healing power for our 13 year old daughter who now has to face the world without her biggest fan, her daddy. We are broken but I know God heals.

My daughter, Madison, lost her daddy Nov 28th, 2016 and she was 14 years old when he passed from a 7 year long journey with glioblastoma brain cancer. She still misses him so badly too. Praying that Abba Father will continue to heal her broken heart. 💔 I pray the same for you and your girl too! 💕

Abba Papa is busy pulling me out of a life long depression. I'm 63 now and went into a depression around the age of 8. I've suffered with it all my life but to even attempt trying to define or describe God's Awesomeness is futile, so suffice it to say He is Unbelievably Wonderful! Jesus is my King, my Master, my LORD, my Saviour, my Messiah.. This song of Ellie's brought tears to my eyes this morning because of its gut-wrenching honesty and the power of Ellies' lyrics. Clearly, she is someone who has overcome incredible adversity herself - you don't write anything this powerful without having experienced very valid reasons for it - I want to say that as God uses strings of different things to complete His messages to us, so He used Ellie's song this morning. If you are someone who never experienced a connection with your parents or siblings, you will battle to establish or will have battled to establish the love connection with a family of your own, and so you may have lost them to divorce, perhaps even more than once... Don't beat yourself to death over it. Run to Jesus! Run to Him for all you are worth! Fall at His feet, sliding and grazing your knees in the dust! Once you have established a connection with Him, hold on to Him like there's no tomorrow - because without Him in the very first position in your life - there isn't.

My daughter her husband, and their daughter are singing this song at their church this morning in honor of their oldest daughter who was born with Downs Syndrome. She is such a blessing to our family!

My daughter, Miss Madison was born with Down Syndrome as well. She is now 18 1/2 years old and is truly incredible and a gift from Abba Father. My husband, Madison's daddy passed away Nov. 28th, 2016 from a 7 year battle with glioblastona brain cancer, which is unheard of. Most "glio" diagnosed patients have a prognosis of 12-18 months to live. Abba gave us 7 more years with him. And in the midst of that 7 years performed more than 1 miracle in Shannon's life. Abba is so good! Now it's just Madison and I and she is my sidekick for sure! Enjoy your gem with a little somethin' extra! ❤️

This is a song we all need to hear---whether we were born with a handicap or just through times and disease our bodies have deteriorated---God knew before the beginning of time what we would look like---I know it is an old saying, but it is true= it is what is on the inside that matters. I was very pretty when I was younger, now I am just plain not. Disease has had me for 36 years. I takes a toll. It has drawn me so much closer to Jesus--I would not change a thing about my outward appearance for my relationship with God and Christ. Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding me!!!! Beautiful scenery, compliments of God!!!!

I'm reminded of the blind man in John 9 and what Jesus said about his blindness: "1 As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?" 3 Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world." (John 9:1-5, NASB). We are all born affected by original sin and its effects on all of God's good creation. Whether our bodies or our minds or our souls are broken, whether by our sin, other's sin, or just by the effects of the fall, God's mighty works will be displayed through our brokenness. Perhaps he'll heal our minds and bodies, or perhaps he will not. However, in Christ, our souls are cleansed and we are progressively made holy through the work of the Holy Spirit. This latter work is the most important and the mightiest work of all: that God takes sinners and makes them holy and glorified beings for eternity in body, mind, and soul is a great miracle.

My daughter is struggling with the separation between me and her father and once the confident child is now covering herself, personality and, intelligence.. even thinking a hoodie would hide herself too. She's such an amazing girl and it's devastating to see her not want to be the person God created her to be...I pray this song reaches deep in her little spirit and big heart and heal her. Mam you speak life over yourself and daughter. Speak those things that are not as thouh they were. The words you say to yourself and about your daughter are powerful. If your marriage is what you still want you put God first in your life and you claim your marriage for restoration. God can heal hearts and turn them back to each other & have a stronger bond than before. Pray depression off of your daughter & self.

I’ve been struggling with mental illness all my life - I mean, let’s be honest - who doesn’t have some form of trauma to heal from? This song is giving me such peace. I forgot how important my faith & spirituality is because I am often disenchanted by the church. But there are so many redeeming things about God. (Even for me…..who feels closer to an atheist than a “Christian”).

Hi! I’m sorry that the church has failed you, but please be patient with us, we are all messy, sinful humans. God is the only perfect one, and only He can satisfy and help you. Please don’t allow our mistakes to step in-between you and Him. He loves you so dearly, and He has a great plan for you, if you just allow Him to use you. The fact that this song comforts you shows that you are not too far gone to get back on track with God. Dear Alleasha.......i had those feelings when I was your age. And sometimes even as an adult. Many people do. But let me share something I learned......that if we think we are only good enough if we never mess up, then we will always feel like a failure......because EVERYONE messes up. But God loves you anyway. Every day. No matter what. And what he wants is for you to talk to him. Tell him the ways you feel like you failed. Then he can help you by taking that burden off your shoulders. This may sound crazy but I've done this. And God listened. And loved me. And stayed by me when I tried again. He made you and me.....how could he not love us. We're his daughters and he's the best Dad ever. Take your junk to him ( he already knows anyway!) He's just waiting for you to hand it over so he can carry it for you. I'm going to pray you will learn that you are unique and valuable and lovable. Cuz you ARE !

@@roxanneklafehn8516 Thanks. I have brought up in prayer alot that I feel like a failure, and have stated reasons for why I'm so against myself,m. And not to complain, but nothings really changed all that much. I think there may be a tiny or small change, but the negativity is still there. Even if it's gone most of the time now, it's still there. I struggle with alot. But I guess that's no surprise, because when we've handed over our life to God, we're going to be battling our flesh everyday. Because even though we're in this world, we're to be living in the spirit.

@@roxanneklafehn8516 Btw, I have a question. (Technically more than one.) When I'm praying for someone, how often do I pray for them? Once every day, more then once a day? And when would it be more appropriate to stop praying for that person? I struggle to be faithful in praying for others. I don't pray for others often. And when I do, it's only once, and then not again. Or I pray once a day for a few days. Then it ends. I'm not very pleased with how much I pray for people, because it should be much more. Also, the reason I look down on myself is because I expect myself to be better than actually am, and yeah.. I think you basically said exactly what I feel and why, as I'm now realizing.

@@alleashawatson4648 I wish I had an amazing answer for you ... But I don't haha. I also have not been faithful about praying for people consistently so take this with a grain of salt but here are some ideas... Say you are praying for a friend's salvation, consider finding someone to partner with you in prayer, and you could call and pray together (as I've done), or at least check up on each other. Another suggestion in a similar vain is to find prayer meetings with a focus and join them. Basically, finding other believers who want to pray and then praying corporately can be a good way to keep that passion for prayer alive. Just some thoughts, hope that helps :) Also, I saw on your page you have some Christian music compilations, you should look definitely look up the Watoto Children's Choir :)

@@funnyfisher7 Thanks. We'll, I'm doing better. I still enjoy prayer alot, and continue to read my Bible. I will definitely look up the Watoto Children's Choir though. Btw, what did you mean by praying with another Christian? The first part you mentioned. Not sure if I understand correctly. Also, I understand your situation with praying for people consistently. I struggle with that too. Normally when I have someone I wanna pray for, I only pray for them once or less than seven times, or sometimes around 7 times. It's only when it's someone I really care about, and am desperate for them, where I'd pray up to a month or more for them. But even if I only pray for someone once, if I find someone needs prayer and I'm focused on the fact that I want to obey what the bible says, then I do it mainly for that reason. Cause the bible says we are to pray for others consistently. It also says we are to share in each other's burdens. 🙂
