I tore through these books as a kid and loved how weird the world of Orbona could be. Eva looks a little older than she did (maybe it's just the design) and I miss her wild pigtails and braids, but other than that this looks amazing!

I do like some of the designs in this… …but the animation looks fairly stiff(no offense to the team at ICON, though) and its plot structure to me just SCREAMS Lasseter. And not in a good way. Then again, since this was a show that ended up switching showrunners because of him, I’m sadly not surprised.

I hope they call her Eva nine rather than just call her Eva because I only heard them color Eva and the name is kind of a major part of the plot and would be a shame if they decided to drop that piece of the plot

Man, for your good luck, spell bound is soon going to be realesed on Netflix. It appeared in the animation section trailer, along with sandmand, the twits, that chirstmas and arcane s2.
