other NCT members learning from Lucas a lot, to be more open and be themselves even if that means being weird, and loving themselves unashamedly and unconditionally meanwhile Lucas got hated later bc of so many unnecessary misunderstandings, also bc his popularity was really threatening to the point that other solo stans felt threatened so his antis quickly follow as he develops fans.. you know what people say "first year rookies are adored, but then people start to see them as threat".. not to mention him being chosen as part of SuperM that made him becoming the main target of hate.. some antis and nonfans simply dissed him off as *just a loud guy with no brain* or just *untalented pretty face* regardless we can see that Lucas in 2021 is such an amazing person, and many people now realize he is more than just a loud guy or a pretty face, and more revelations from his members or those who work with echoed how he is such a kind-hearted person with youthful spirit.. he definitely never a weird guy, he was (still is) just a sociable hyper dude with a good heart

newly debuted lucas was truly such a refreshing breath of air LOL the way he came onto the scene all fresh and confident was so fun. it sucks that his image was almost immediately downplayed to arrogant and/or "dumb" (and still is to some extent these days) when really he just has a larger-than-life personality that brightens up the whole room. kind of went on a tangent here but anyways this compilation was so entertaining to watch no matter how many times ive already seen the individual clips LOL

i was very EXO-L back in 2018 but i would still be reading stuffs about nct back then too, specially that exact year, what i can remember is that lucas debuted, who is the same age of mark, that who-is-nana-meme; his obsession to be in dream. There were a lot of fandom jokes about that certain topic bavk then. Also, some facts about him like that he came to korea to learn chinese, he got in sm with his 3 poses, he trained first to be vocal. There were certainly a lot of things about him that i always read when i tried to hear from nct spazzers back then. And i really got into him during superm. I fell for him because of that legendary "The Real Men" show. It will forever be funny for me.

11:12 when he said “don’t be touched” he accidentally spoke Cantonese. Touched is 감동 (gamdong) and in Cantonese it’s 感動 (gum2 dung6) mandarin(gan3 dong4). It’s pretty similar so I think he mixed the two up 😆
