xinrus style isnt suited for pips on the bh. shes more of a passive player (most of the points she won were through unforced errors by hirano). if she wants to play a more reactive game, where she absorbs the opponents attacks and waits for the opportunity to do a kill shot, she should switch to regular pips in rubber. right now her backhand makes it difficult to 相持 in long rallies. if you play pips on bh u need to be more of a gambler, which she isnt. of course, the disparity is exacerbated by the skill gap, but its still something she might wanna consider
