i always take bomb ass pictures of my friends, and when we switch spots, they cut my feet out of the full body shot, take pictures without following any rules, lighting is so off, and background has no context. i hate it. i wish i had more photographer friends.

Not entirely. Low angle from near are good for action shots. I.e people dancing, doing skateboard tricks...
