I hate Season 5 tbh. My love for Octavia has probably gotten stronger though because of it. I just hate what they are doing to the characters. They are pitting everyone against Octavia but I’m just glad Madi seems to understand Octavia.

Clarke needs to realize that her mother is the one who forced Octavia down this path. My one gripe is that Clarke always acts like she’s above everyone else. I love my girl Octavia. Always will.

Okay since no one seems to understand why Octavia burned down the garden I’ll tell u. She did it because she promised these ppl that they will have paradise when they get out of the bunker so she will do anything to get them there after everything they went through to survive for those 6 yrs

Abby pushed her toward that dark path but her and everybody else STILL want to act like Octavia is the only person who has to atone for it and it's such bullshit

The only part of the finale season I LOVED was Indra saying "we were all Blodreina" and taking ownership for her part in that. Octavia was the figurehead so she became the scapegoat but everyone who played a part in the leadership, and to a lesser extent EVERYONE who played into the bunker culture... they all had their blame in that. Octavia didn't do that alone. And I'm glad the show finally recognized that.

I love Octavia she has been through so much her whole life. She's my favourite and always will be! Even though she's in a dark place it adds an amazing element to the show.

I feel so bad for Octavia. She wasn't ready to be a leader and others(Abby) took the chance to manipulate her. Still, everything she does is for the good of her people. I hate how Bellamy is pitted against her when he doesn't even know about the Dark Year. Octavia will always be awesome, and so is Bloodriena.

But they all abandoned, betrayed, leaved her and called her a monster, a devil, Queen of Cannibals even her own friends even her own brother even the persons who made her do it and forced her to become a leader. I loved her after she turned "dark". She has the best character development and Marie can really act, unlike Eliza and Bob (who can do nothing but show that annoying worry-face since the start of the show). Marie shows so many shades and nuances. She is a brilliant actor. And the thing is, they call Octavia "crazy" or "scary" when she sacrificed someone for everyone and when she killed someone with a gun. While Clarke is defended when she killed the dude of Diyoza without even blinking an eye. She killed 300 people to save her people. Bellamy killed 300 people because of his arrogance, he slaughtered the grounders because of his stupidity. But Octavia gets hated and criticized for being way less cruel than them. And unlike Clarke and Bellamy, she had no choice. She HAD to put people into the pit. There was no other option. Clarke and Bellamy always HAD a fucking choice. Bellamy criticizing her is so ridiculous, he is so much worse than her. I really can´t stand their fucking hypocrisy.

I love octavia so much. But im glad that season 5 was all about her. And octavia was so strong and made some of her own people live still.

Octavia has so many excuses for following that dark path! At first she was already far for being herself by the time she lost Lincoln and everything she's been through before Season 5! She was trapped in the bunker for 6 years, in the past she was under the floor for the most of her life so you can see why she doesn't wonna stay there anymore! Her brother always took care of her and for the first time he couldn't help her because he was in the Arc! She was forced to lead(she didn't want to become a leader at first but Indra changed her mind) and forced to make hard choices by others (Abby with the cannibalism). At 5X02 episode there was chaos in the bunker. Skaikru locked themselves in the room with all the food so everyone else would starve to death and the other clans wanted to kill all of them (even the inoccent),but Octavia stepped up and wanted to spare the inoccent but they did not listen to her so she gave them a choice "You are Wonkru, or you are an enemy of Wonkru" so the inoccent people from Skaikru would survive, and then she earned the respect of her people. After that, she had to punish the Skaikru people that betrayed her because it was the only way to unite Wonkru and prevent worst things for happening (if she spared the lifes of Skaikru it would seem like she's favouring them because she is Skaikru originally)! After all that she is been through Abby suggest to eat the dead bodies to survive in the Dark Year and exclude any other options. If she refused. people would start killing and eating each other anyways so they can survive so she found an option that would not cause that much chaos(the dead people from the arena who were criminals). She's done terrible things i know but she is a good leader, and she wanted the best for her people and after everything that happened she couldn't bare seing them suffer in the Bunker with the hope that the farms will work someday (also would you wonna live in a place where someone ate a friend of u or a family member?)

No matter what Octavia does in the show. I'll always love her.

Saddest thing about this series is that you can start at season 6 and not miss anything because they basically went full circle to fuck this series lol.

This video is everything. And for me either Octavia or Abby don't deserve the hate they get. They are both broken queens ( my two favs but Octavia is number one). Octavia saved everyone and they all treat her like villain. I just wanna mention the fighting pit bc lot of people say that it’s completely messed up. But it was kind of a -no choice- thing. If they were going to survive past five years down there, population reduction was necessary… There’s some things about the pits that’s better, and some that’s worse, but at least with the pits, people were given the chance to fight for their lives rather than simply being executed like on the Ark. But it did become worse because it became a sport that people cheered on. P.s. I don’t know how Bellamy could stand in an arena stained in TONS of blood, and really think that all 1200 people survived in that bunker 😭. He had a little too much hope there. Anyway, the fighting pit isn’t as bad as people say it is. It was something forced on them, and by using the fighting pit, Octavia was atleast trying to give her people a chance to fight for their lives instead of executions.
