Hi. So if I use the Sheet Editor, and I Combine simple to variable products. I will not have problems with the PRICE AND STOCK CRON when I do this? Bcs I have many XML imports, with CRON jobs.

I noticed in your example, there were no SKUs. How does one do this when each variation has its own SKU? I've done these steps, but when I preview the changes, my site says each color has the same quantity of stock; however, they don't.

Each variation can have unique SKU and manage stock separately, for that, you just need to activate the checkbox "Manage stock" in each variation row and set the stock in each variation.

Can you inform me if the simple products that are converted into variations, still exist also as simple products? I mean....Can the customer sees 1) each simple product in the shop seperately and 2) in each simple product-variation the other variations? Thank you in advance.

Hi. When you combine the products, the simple products are converted into variations of one variable product. So the simple products are no longer available as simple products, they can be seen only by opening the new variable product.

When the products are changed to variable products, will they still be fulfilled through my print on demand service? For instance, I have two manufacturers that I would like to use on the same product but for different colors, I would like my customer to be able to just choose the color and have the respective manufacturer fill it.

It depends on the "print on demand" plugin that you use.

Hi I think I'm facing a bug using the plugin, when I try to combine my products some of them go completely missing after I click on "save" quite randomly. even when I try to reupload the products from my accounting app they still remain missing! how do I recover the missing products? How do I avoid this from happening again?

Hi Andy, yes, the video is showing that exact process. How to combine multiple products into one variable product where each old product becomes a variation inside the variable product.

@@Andy-gj8xj Yes, you can move the variations from one variable product to another by editing the "Parent" column, also make sure the final product has the attributes used by all the variations. We don't have a video for this specific process yet but if you contact us in our website, we can guide you step by step.

The plugin is very optimized to work with large catalogs, you can edit thousands of variations with our plugin. But at the end the performance depends on your server and how many plugins you have.

Looks harder to do this than it does to just create the product in the first place.

Our process is more helpful if you want to combine products and keep the IDs to avoid breaking the existing orders and if you want to combine many products.

@@sheeteditor So, when using your tool, if I look at Analytics for the new variations it will show the orders from before the simple product was converted to a variation?
