Active tutorial!!! Thanks. But I have a question about the sidebar product categories. When I click the sidebar product categories, it should be directed to the sub-category page but it still stays on the same shop page showing all the products. How could I fix that? Could you please guide me? Thanks.

@Donoven Ning If you are using WordPress version 5.8 onwards, you can add WooCommerce blocks to the widget area. There is a block called 'Product Category List'. You can go to Appearance > Widgets, and add this block to the Sidebar. This will display the list of categories and subcategories on the frontend. When a subcategory is clicked, it will show only products under that sub category. Let us know if it works.

@@LearnWoo Hi, much thanks for your response. I use the woocommerce product grid to show products, and I finally find the problem coming from the setting source. I choose the category I want to display and it works. Anyway, thanks for your kind response.

Can you blend cattegories with products?! As in a random order. Display 5-6 products and then 1 category and so on?! I only get to put the categories first and then the products. Thank you!!

@@LearnWoo thanks for the help, actually i figured it out a while after asking you by checking out short code documentation on the woocommerce site... i used 'edit page" 'homepage" and edited the short code to include parent="0" like this: [product_categories number="0" parent="0" limit="6" columns="4" orderby="menu_order"]

@@LearnWoo now if i could just figure out how to make the primary menu, my categories menu, look prettier with either some borders around each category selection or even better, by replacing the text with images... any idea how to change the text to images for the main menu in the header ? thanks again

You didn't show how to download the app to set it up on wordpress. You have to remember people who are not technical you want to give step by step from start to finish. When you solve a problem more people will view your page, which equals to more money.
