Actually speaking.. Bazball hasn't worked in this series. And it wouldn't work against good bowling attacks. England has slightly tweaked their Bazball approach which seems to be working. Crawley started slowly and then expressed after settling in. Both Stokes and Brook were slow in the initial overs, and then expressed later on. This is a good change from England. In the first two tests they just went after the bowlers right from ball one and that failed. That won't work against good teams.

so, so good. the six at 6:54 was incredible, too. it reminds me of one Mark Waugh hit off his pads at the World Cup in ... 2003, i think. not so much the actual shot, just the flat trajectory. both times the ball went like an absolute missile, and it's prob lucky neither killed someone in the crowd!

You won't get a better cricket introduction than that ashes test matches between England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Australia 🇦🇺 fierce rivalry. The same can be said for both rugby teams when they meet.

@RR42636 India and Pakistan is probably a good test series when they meet. West indies Sri Lanka New Zealand South Africa 🇿🇦 Bangladesh are also very good test sides .

@@cnitevedi4832 look at their bowling lineup woakes, wood, archer( if fit), sam Curran, Adil rashid . They are thrashing world champion although Joe root is out of form and as far i know, England players are best when it comes to play spin( Buttler, Barstow, root, Roy). So fear is obvious 😔

It’s easy to score runs at Barstow’s position because with the tail you’ve got the license to play freely! Crawley and Root are the real MVPs of that huge first innings total by England! Root got unlucky there with that bounce betraying him , otherwise he definitely would have scored big ! I really think ROOT is a living legend as far as Modern Batsmen are concerned! The finesse in his shots : cover drives, ramp shots, pull shot, the tap down to the thirdman - simply mind blowing stuff!

It is spine tingling moment to see Woods terrific fast bowling and scaring the best batsmen like Smith & Head. It has been a long time since Shoaib Akthar who scares batsmen with their speed! Woods have to focus on his fitness to play the game for long period, not league matches that shortens career and energy.
