I put a carving I called "Star Gazer" on Instagram a few days ago but I didn't record it as I carved. When I started this video, I had intentions of making that same guy. He turned out a lot different but I really liked him anyway!

Thinking Out Loud: I mentioned Harley Refsal in the video. I saw some of his carvings (pictures) on a website and thought I would try out a style he used for his "hands in pockets". Well it didn't turn out like his...lol, but I like them anyway. I think years from now, my own style will be made from 500 failed attempts of other carvers' work that I admire.
