Wood Slice Wreath - Wood Projects for Home Decor

Making Wood projects for my home is one of my favorite things to do! In this video I will show you how to make this wood wreath using logs and branches from my backyard. If you do not have branches to work with you can buy prepackaged wood slices from your local craft store. Hope you enjoy this DIY!

Rebecca this wreath is gorgeous...I loved how you recycled the wood from your yard. Such an amazing job...you are so creative 😁 I love it on the brick wall but also looks amazing on the door

Thanks so much Misty! I am trying to find creative ways to use all the wood we have! It is such a massive pile! I think I am going with the brick only because the kids come through that door and I am afraid of them slamming it when they close the door.

This wreath is absolutely beautiful Rebecca ! I love the rustic look and that you’ve reused the wood from your back yard. We also have a large wood pile in our yard as we have a wood burner in our home. Definitely going to have a go at making one of these, thanks so much for sharing 😊

Did you have any kind of a backing underneath all of the wood pieces and it looks beautiful

How did you dry the slices???

These branches were from over a year ago so they were seasoned wood. You could try putting the slices on a low temp in the oven for a few hours if you have fresh wood. Or you could purchase pre sliced wood at a craft store.
