I feel like an idiot, but I still don't get this. If the wood stove is listed, do the clearance reduction panels reduce the clearance listed or is that minimum clearance already considered reduced since it is less than the unlisted wood stove clearances? Sorry. I'm just completely overwhelmed with wood stove information right now.

We have a pacific wood stove and the clearance for the wall should be 12 inches from the wall. My concern is the wall gets HOT when running the stove Is this dangerous? There isn’t any stone or shield on the wall. It’s just dry wall and wood

Thank you! Can you please list the items you referred to for heat protection/thermal protection that would go underneath the stove? Did you say Amber Protection? That was tile, stone, or sheet metal... and then thermal protection was... ? Also, is it is certain type/thickness of sheet metal that we must use? Thank you!

Would having a fan blowing air from underneath the stove lessen any of the demands on the hearth pad?

No the pad is used to prevent fire due to hot coal falling on the floor

Great video. I'm curious about clearances from cold windows to hot stove.
