Thanks Mike! I had to really think about how much to say about them! There is so much to say, where do you stop before offending people?!🤷♀️🍄😁

@@spiritwynd Offending them ? That must be a CA thing. All I would be worrying about is my reputation ... what little I have anyways. Anyways, I thought it was a great vid. And a lovely piece.

Very nice Heather. I know one of those would be a hit around here. Now if I could just find someone who does wood turning LOL. It all came together when you added the white dots! We seldom get 6 inches a snow a year here but 60 miles away at Mt. Hood there is plenty. Take care, Gary

Hi Heather, that wood might be Willow instead of Ash. You did a lot of research for this video! The red&white mushrooms I know are not edible but could be hallucigenous when consumed in small amounts. Not something I am willing to try though! 😎 Another thing we might know them from is computer games; they feature in many of the Mario games which were quite popular in the '90s. No snow over here yet, Merry Christmas!

These are the exact same mushroom Emgi! They are hallucinogenic, in all the research I did. I just didn't want to put that part in my video. They supposedly give the user a feeling of flying, which is probably where Santa's reindeer get that ability!🙂 Drying them also reduces the toxicity, and....um... Supposedly, after the reindeer ate the mushrooms, the shamen would collect their urine, (because it would have the toxins filtered out) and drink it. That way they would only get the clean halucenogenic feel, and not the gut wrenching cramps of the toxins.

Lovely little mushroom box Heather. I had a chuckle when you discovered it outside under the little tree. Really looks the part, and, you could keep, , , stuff in it too, just as long as it was dried. Are you in Canada? Best regards from Scotland. Merry Christmas. 🍄 Oh look!!

Lol Glad you enjoyed the discovery! Yes I do live in Ontario Canada! All that snow melted 2 days after filming. But it's all come back again 🙃 sorry to say but the mushroom hasn't sprouted yet😕

Yes he is in Ontario! About a 6 hr drive from me! With the size of Ontario, that's not too far! I may just have to make that drive sometime. I'd love to see his workshop!

I also follow his channel! I now own a pressure pot, but haven't bought resin yet. That will be coming in the new year 😁
