About two years ago, I put a set of videos up on youtube about how to build a double iron version of this, and then updated them and built a jack plane - same process for both types of planes. They are free and have been with ads disabled on youtube. The process is a bit different than single iron planes.

Its one thing to build furnishings. But to build it with your own tools you crafted defines a master craftsman in the making

Hi Joshua, I really enjoyed this video. Bill Anderson has a pleasant voice and way to explain things. Even for non native english speaking people like me, it's easy to follow along and to understand. I will sure build one of these planes in future. But first i will give the handle making a try and build my own handles for my modern planes. A big thumbs up! Great Video! Fun Fact: The amount of band aid rises by progress of the video. Just like in my projects. Haha. :)
