Every year Bay Harbor puts on an amazing wooden boat and car show in a quarry that is over 60 feet deep. Mike, thanks so much for the coming to Bay Harbor to capture the boats and cars. Was a pleasure to finally meet you and get Charlemagne to Maritime Classics to give the engine some love. Great to have it running again. Looking forward to getting it in the water so I'm no longer referred to as a 'trailer queen'.

I was there, keep an eye for me. I’m driving a electric scooter doing my best impression of being disabled. It’s easy after what they did to my knee.

Thanks Mike for taking time out to shoot a great video at Bay Harbor! Of all the cars and boats, the Chris-Craft Custom "Anejo" still is a personal favourite, or maybe the '39/40' barrel backs. :) Quite the engine in "The Paragon"! Nice! Have a great summer!

Anejo is also my favorite overall. That said, nothing beats the gravitas of a V12.

A lot of work went into the Trailer Queens. Too bad they are allergic to water. I do understand people not wanting to put boats in the water at Keels & Wheels East of Houston because of the salt, but Lake Michigan is as fresh of water ever. Nice show, thank you.

They would have been all in the water if they had the dock space for them. The marine which is private will only give up so many. In the past years there where more. I hate the term TRAILER QUEENS as most of the boat I do and know of regardless of how nice they do use them, otherwise what is the point.

He didn’t mention that you can see all the way to the bottom of the 60’ to 90’ deep marina. All the docks are floating except at the shore. It is a rich man’s paradise that they let the working class come in and drool on their beautiful monuments to wealth.

The stuff he called “amazing” I find unimpressive. It just takes a big checking account. I like the older cars. Most are worked on by the owners. Most cars at this show are driven in. There are a few trailer queens. The show is coming up in a week or two. See me there on my scooter and handicap sticker.

That's a big assumption to say most of the cars are worked on by their owners. A ton of wood boat owners do their own work. Sweat and tears go into both hobbies.
