Woodhill MTB park Barrel Run. Double Black Jump track.

The Dad's Army lads attempt a expert double black mountain bike jump track in Woodhill mountain bike park in Auckland.
This track has several large wooden jumps with serious consequences for failure. Can we get over the Squirrel catcher to do the big jumps?

You are an inspiration to everyone who is concerned that the cold clammy hand of death is slowly coming for them. it's great to see senior citizens still able to hit these big gap jumps.

Yes we must get around to it. I want to do it with Graham but he has surgery in a few weeks so it will probably be delayed.

It actually was not hard to do but did take full commitment. Full speed no brakes but all good.

The big drop is actually easier than the first two big features. The landing is so long that you can go as deep as you want.

@@davidpeake1085 we rode across the gap without jumping it!!! I did originally show this in the video but the guys wanted me to edit it out which is why the video looks a bit disjointed.

It is near the start of togs togs undies. This track is not to be taken lightly. Serious injury can occur if you get it wrong

I cased that big drop the first tie I rode it, ankles still hurt to this day. Also what framerate do you shoot in with your GoPros?

I use 1080 and 60 fps. My computer won't handle 4k but I think the picture is ok. What do you think?

Nice vid guys. Whereabouts is this at woodhill. I've ridden there about 10 x I know of Rick candy but I've never seen this track

As you go up the tract where togs starts. Turn left where the tape is and go down there. I guess the park keeps it low key. They probably wont thank me for making a video.

That's complicated but we didn't just start on the wooden platform. I wouldn't recommend that.

@@bestdayevermtb2 I just found out about this line 3 weeks ago but havnt seen anyone do it. Keen to see the entry speed to the step up if you were to include that in future videos 😀. Good video keep it up!
