Also he did a lot of his own melodies in other tracks that are truly his and shows how creative and great as a musician he was.

@@Mark-uh4zd Not a sample, woodie didn't really sample like other producers. His first beats were made on keyboards where he just replayed the melodies of certain songs and put a slapping bass and drum beat under it. He continued with the keyboard style as he got better for the rest of his career.
