This week I have been photographing the woods at Brandelhow and Manesty overlooking Derwent Water in the northern Lake District. I learnt a very valuable lesson about woodland photography that I think all landscape photographers need to hear.
I have always struggled with woodland photography. For many years it has been my nemisis. But for the past 12 months I have been working hard to improve my compositions in the woods. And I have learnt one important thing which I will share with you in this video.
Landscape photography so often comes down to adopting the right mindset. In this video I share how I have changed my approach to woodland photography.
