Mr. Jack, I still get hypnotized watching you create. May I ask you, what is it that you use to put the shine on your art? Just a curious thought. I'm sure that it's quite different than using wood shavings to burnish some pieces, a bit different. Shellac is from insect "material", right? I'm only wondering if you make your own finishing products from scratch, or do you purchase whatever that product you use to make the shine glow like you do? Thank you kindly for your reply. An old fan, grin.😊

@@fastjazz As an artist myself, it saddens me to see how little you value our time, effort, and talent. You clearly don't know how artists price their works or how much something like this is actually worth. You're not just paying for the finished piece, you're paying for the equipment used, as well as the time spent learning the craft while NOT being paid. For the same reason that a 2D Vtuber model might go for thousands of dollars, despite the fact that someone as uneducated as you might think it's "just a drawing", something as unique and beautiful as this could EASILY go for twice the amount the commissioner paid, so really, the price Jack quotes them was more than fair. Maybe you should take a moment to appreciate just how much of a role art of all forms plays in our modern society, to give yourself a better idea of just how valuable our work really is.

Nothing personal, but just my feeling: first 10 videos I've seen with such a wood turning masterpieces caused WOW! effect, but later ones are repeating of the same scenario: find a bunch of stiff stuff, fill it with a contrast colour resin, turn it into bowl or vase, cover with a glance coat wasting 90% of material. I understand specific of wood turning and lathe in general, but it's such huge waste for a vase (they are great from a glass) or bowl (steel, ceramic or glass work perfect for that). I think it's time to create something different with the same technique or with less waste. Just as a side note: I'm not a master of wood turning, I only know basics of metal and wood working on a lathe and have basic hands-on skills in that. Thank you for your deep and wide skills of wood turning and processing in general, however what do you think about applying them to something really new and rather useful/practical than decorative? Thank and regards, Konstantin
