This reminds me of the seasoning and aquarium product mountainous volcano of smells that quickly awakened me. It was in the mid 90s, when my small children woke up before me one weekend. Probably a bit over a hundred bucks worth of seasoning and fish aquarium products. I cant imagine how much it would cost today 🤪. Had to air out the whole house.

@@jeanette8943 thank you I thought the layering would be beautiful. I have box turtles so I've ground up eggshells in a mortal and pestle to add calcium to their food. It just seems like larger shell chunks would be awesome. The natural tans and browns, ivory n white would be a beautiful neutral toned decor piece. Wild bird eggs are amazing colors. (No wild eggs should be disturbed) just a personal disclaimer as I only have captive bread turtles, never remove a turtle from the wild. They aren't a good pet for children. Lots of work.

I was just thinking, _use a rotary cutter!_ A rotary fabric cutter could take on a few layers of fabric at a time! Just do squares, and let the lathe round it out... Even rolling the corners off with a cutter would make octagons, which for the purpose, is close enough to a circle.

I think a collection of items a mother/parent keeps of their child would be an incredibile keesake. Baby clothes, recieving blankets, a few treasures buried, pacifier, not to sound gross- but we all keep their baby teeth- lock of hair, etc. I was able to have one child and it makes letting go of her items difficult. I can't be the only one. If you have something small and so special, beautifully crafted, I think parting with other items could be easier. Just a thought. I loved watching your process. I think a fork, knife, and spoon centered in an egg would look pretty cool.

Simply amazing. I've been sewing for years. The thought of doing this with scraps, never crossed my mind. Beautiful!!!

Kudos for cutting all of that by hand. I couldn’t do that without my Sizzix machine.

Dried ramen noodle egg! Would be really cool to see all the noodles going through clear resin. Plus ramen and eggs go great together

Gorgeous, brilliant, and absolutely amazing. I love to quilt because of the beautiful colors and patterns on the cotton fabrics I use. You have brought to life the fabrics you chose. These eggs are wonderful.
