Woodturning - A Cane for the Actor Sayed Badreya

7 ай бұрынVery happy and honoured to be chosen to make a cane for Sayed Badreya. He's featured in several films including Iron Man, Independence Day, The Dictator plus many more.
This Cane will feature in his next film "Hello Beautiful", filming starts in January 2024.
Handle is made from Thuya Burl and Black Palmwood. The rest is made from Black Palmwood. Metal is Pewter.
Finished in Shellac and polished using beeswax.

17 years using a cane, and I have NEVER seen one this magnificent. I almost thought that you were making a pool stick, and it has such an exotic look on the handle. This is ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSIVE. 👏👏👏👏👏

Hi Matt the different types of wood you used are marvellous and they have nice grain and colour. I like the metal you used it really sets the cane of.
