Really sweet feeder. One thought, with the snow blowing, one can add some clear plastic like from a water bottle, around the middle part to keep some stashed and dry feed. With openings at the bottom of it to let it spill out and for when refilling.

grats on 4k subs. I subscribed when you was fairly new to you tube and have watched 90% of your vids and you have taught me so much. I bought some carbides and struggled on how to use them Nobody I watched on using carbnides gave the same info you did. I also learnt a lot on using trad tools as well and my turning has improved so much with both types of chisels that I am a lot more comfortable in the work that I do. Still got a long way to go to get really good but am getting there slowly..... Thanks again guys and here's to the next 4k subscribers 👍👍👍👍

Hello I have recently found your channel and are enjoying it very much. One thing I noticed is that you always make a point of fully closing any chuck before removing it. Is there a reason for this or are you just being tidy. Thanks for your time.

I do have a bit of an OCD problem but I need to fully close the chucks so they hang on the hooks I made for them.

Glen and Lisa, I watch your videos regularly and enjoy them and the knowledge that you share. Thank you for sharing. I have a question on a subject that I haven’t heard you say much about. How in the world do you manage to keep your shop so clean? My lathe is out in a small part of my garage. I don’t have a turning project to work on but maybe once a week or so if I’m lucky and I manage get shavings and sawdust all over my garage. I actually do clean up every time after I turn off the lathe for the day, even if the project is not finished yet. I have a battery powered leaf blower and a dust collector that I use during sanding and to clean up the shop with and I still find wood chips and dust everywhere. You appear to have quite a clean shop. And you seem to be turning something almost every day. I understand that the floor has to get messy but your tool holders and shelves are all quite clean. I was just wondering what you guys do to keep your shop looking nice and clean? I’m currently watching the bird feeder video and I have some logs that would be perfect for making a feeder like that. So I look forward to seeing you finish it.

Hi Herb. Thanks for your support in watching our videos. I just vacuum it off every time I've finished for the day. How did you find the bird feeder? I was very pleased with it. It's now hanging in the garden with nuts in it waiting for the birds to take them.

Hi Glen, Thanks for the reply. I do vacuuming every time after I’m finished for the day, guess I’ll just have to do a better job. The bird feeder turned out great, really enjoyed watching you make it. Great tip on oiling the wood as you go to help prevent cracking too. I have a lot more green wood than I have dry wood so I’m going to try that with some of my other projects.
