The wood used is sapele glued with epoxy resin.
The finish is made with an enriched abrasive paste.

Toujours des résultats fantastiques. J'ai parcouru tous les commentaires pour voir si j'étais seul à remonter à l'Égypte ancienne... non, je ne suis pas seul. Votre travail précieux me rappelle les pots à onguents royaux que l'on découvre encore lors de fouilles de sites anciens. Je suis certain que dans une autre vie vous avez travaillé pour Pharaon... I’ve just watched again, unfortunately I’m of an age where arthritis has taken hold of my fingers and consequently they ‘Stutter’ when trying to place items in a finite position. Gosh, all that work preparing the pieces of wood for this was exhausting, but when you end up with such a pretty little jar, it's all worth it. I love everything about this; the design, the shape, the colour; it's perfection.

Very, very nice. It reminded me of a theatre like the Royal Albert Hall, with dozens of private boxes, or an ocean liner at night. There are myriad lives going on behind those little lights. You are very talented indeed.

I love the way there are variations and while you do take measurements, the individual pieces are not exactly perfectly aligned, which lends to the beauty of the piece. It's stunning. As a painter, I've learned that those little quirks are what makes something special. As Bob Ross used to say: "There are no mistakes, just happy accidents." This is a stunning piece. Absolutely wonderful.
