For my granddaughter’s 7th birthday I made her a small bowl, about 2” deep, 2:5” diameter. My wife said, “what’s a little kid going to do with a wooden bowl?” So we asked my granddaughter what she would do with it, and the answer, with no hesitation, “I’ll keep Barbie shoes in it.” 👠👡🥿👢🩰

That bowl set is fantastic. Great colour. As much as I love him, I would give my first born for some of that burl! It is amazing. I will say that is one lucky grand child. Thanks for the great video. Just a beautiful bowl set and a great way to commemorate the birth of a loved one. Late reviewing the video this week getting ready to head to Ontario to go fishing and enjoy the Canadian outdoors. 55 years traveling north of the boarder. This is really an intricate process, all before your work even sees the lathe! Amazing, it won’t fully set up, after Three days in the fridge! Even having to beat it out of the bucket and your still not sure you’ve got a great piece to work with! It’s a pleasure seeing how a beautiful blank comes out, after a bit of turning! For your abilities, upgrades equipment isn’t a waste of money! If Rolls Royce, made a lathe, you should have it! Such a great finish and loads of wood grains and epoxy color, character! An other job, well done! I never had any doubts! An outstanding set!

Wow. I like all of them, but the largest core is absolutely spectacular. The paler blue on one side with the darker blue and burl on the other is really nice. I'd say the resin injection technique is a winner.

Jim: another spectacular set of bowls. I thought that part about injecting the resin into the bottom of the bowl was neat. You explained why you were doing it so that we could all understand. Once again you show us that you can turn with the best of them. I love the little bowl, they should use it as the grandchild’s baby bowl, as long as it’s safe to gnaw on that is. It is after all his.

I love the blue laguna resin and the beautiful Burl with so much vibrant coloring in each. This 4 piece bowl set ranks at the top of beautiful pieces you have made. If you were taking orders, I would seriously want a set just like this one. PS. Thank you for the detail about how you start rounding the bottom of your bowls.

wow is right, you continue to outdo yourself. gotta be the best bowl set so far. the burl and two tone resin complement each other so well it brings a tear to my eye.
