first just want to say this is not a REVIEW for the revolutionary tool by crown tools I just want to show you the tool and try to use it for the first time
I'm not a professional but try this at home is a great tool for me the end grain is the new side grain this tool performs pretty well I'm not a big fan of scraper but with this is super easy to use. I need a laser guide ... soon

This is beautiful..The grain gives it a lot of depth and character ,and I think the natural hole looks great ,personally I would display it with that facing the front 🥰

Nice job and a good demo of using the different tips, at least some of them. I've used the super ring quite a bit but not the scrapers. A bit odd that they describe the 'egg scraper' as a 'general purpose cutter'. Methinks it scrapes more than cuts and the super ring cuts better but, then, I'm no expert! Thanks for sharing.

At 15:10.....and that is why you hold the stock from the inside with your right hand while you saw off the tenon with your left! Beautiful work and an equally beautiful and versatile tool....worth every penny or euro. Question....did you need to pick up a specialized sharpener? Stay healthy!

By the way - I use an old soft toothbrush to get the wax out of the cracks. Regards.

Lovely job, Villy. Does the extra weight help with stability when you are working so far inside?

Sandy Kerr exactly the weight is for that I can extend Frye top almost 17 inches so you have to be super stable

Villy do you feel that the tool is a little to heavy for detail work? Or is it something you can get use to over time? I really like the shape of that vase.

That is more a tool for ruff turning but is so soft at the same time I barely not sand after my last pass with the tool

The vase is beautiful! And what is the revolutionary nature of this tool? All threaded connections deteriorate over time! It is better to have several cutters than to twist the screws every time! Good luck!!!

Without trying to belittle anybody or anything, is it really worth the money? It seemed uncomfortable to turn with the "bent" links on the inside? The bowl is beautiful, but I think I will stick to my older hollowing tools. Kind regards.
