Tommy, that’s ok. I feed the fireplace with many of my wood turnings since that’s all they are worth once I get through with chunks of wood. Nice banana bowl you turned while it lasted!👍👍👍 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Actually I expected some very cool wood grain pattern to show up inside the bowl at the end. Oh well, glad it at least kept you warm and let us see how you create your beautiful pieces. Your work is amazing and every video has brought tears to my eyes. Not because I miss my grandfather but because I get to see what he loved to do through you. Thank you.

I subscribed just now because it's easy to post a video to be proud of when all goes well, it takes a special person to admit mistake. KZfaq has a tendency to convince you that anyone who turns is "good at it". Great to see I am not the only one who makes mistakes.

Sorry for the ending; however, you sir are a genius! Using alcohol to absorb the water and, then, because alcohol evaporates quickly you end up with a dry piece of wood much sooner. Well done!
