.... nah He's a great coach haha. There wasn't really a saga, just an upgrade and he cashed it a Super Bowl following the decision the VERY next year.

Sure he’s a great play caller with a great scheme but he also was unable and unwilling to take his first overall pick QB and A. Teach him how to run the offense on his own. B. Allow him to call his own audibles and protections. C. Help him grow as a player to his full potential. In fact Sean McVay literally stunted Jared Goff’s growth as a football player because he was so arrogant that he couldn’t allow someone else to have any input on the offense but him. That’s awful coaching. He was unable to get the absolute best out of his guy (or even get something great at all) because he refused to actually coach. Being a good coach means improving your players, helping them reach their full potential, trusting them to make decisions. Not treating them like a middle school football player who needs to be dog walked the entire way. Being a good offensive mind doesn’t make you a good coach. The only reason he even won a Super Bowl afterward is because he was able to get an already developed, already established, already polished veteran quarterback. The literal only reason he won that Super Bowl is because he was able to get a guy that he didn’t need to coach anymore. Again, good offensive mind, not a good actual coach.

@@daywren7511 yeah, that’s just wrong. The fact that he took that version of JG to the SB alone makes that statement laughable. He literally took a worse version of Goff further. Everyone who’s great will have haters I guess.

@@TheSpeakEZPodcast Ez he was literally the biggest reason why that version of Jared Goff is worse. And yeah they went to the Super Bowl. With a super team. Because he had a good offensive system. Full of stars. That doesn’t mean he’s a good COACH. Mind boggling you don’t understand the difference between coach and playcaller and seem to think being successful makes you great at both.
