Yeah, it's surprising. I thought it would be good/funny with Crob being there. It's even worse with the women's division. Even though LIzzie is aweome, it doesn't seem like commentary is her skill set.

Yeah the commentary is just awful and adds nothing. Would love to see just the skating, if anything if they really want their faces on camera maybe just pan over to show their reactions but thats it

Defense is supposed to have some leeway. Often times people that do tricks above coping do them above coping because it’s easier for them that way. Just because it’s below coping doesn’t make a trick easier, mostly just less scary for someone who has never done it before. If above coping was a rule people wouldn’t even try to learn or land the trick they’d just fake pop it or take the letter. It’s similar to the extension rule, just bc the other person hit the extension doesn’t mean you also have to do it on the extension. The idea is to do the trick in general not replicate it the exact same way from pop height to coping height. Also this is all just for fun and they’re not trying to get people hurt.

The risk of eating shit really bad while trying a trick for the first time ever, over coping, is very high. And everything Tristan said.
