In this woodworking project we will show you how to make a coffee table. When designing this table, I wanted to convey the plasticity of wood, which is not inherent in nature. With the help of veneer, I made a layout. But not everything was so easy to make as a veneer layout. But I managed everything - I think so)).
First, I cut 6mm thick beech lamellas. Beech is one of the best woods for this kind of work. In our previous videos, we didn't use steam to bend wood, but after making a steam box, this was the first time I've used this method to bend wood. Usually we soaked the lamellas for a day directly into the water.

I feel my head has been through the tornado as well watching this amazing sculptural form develop. The amazing skills of Woodworking, Art, Design & Imagination are all supremely on display in this magnificent project. Ganz großes Kino.! Ich kann mich nicht erinnern jemals so etwas gesehen zu haben.. einfach wunderschön, und eine ganz große handwerkliche Leistung.!
