The first half of the kzfaq.infoUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

Indeed a very skillful craftsman. Great work!! Temon & mortise joinery at its best. This artisan is not so fortunate -as most of the comentators are- to have a safety kit at his disposal. But he undoubtedly does his best to sort out the perils, during the working process. Congratulations to this chap!

No way a good craftsman. The risks taken were stupid. Dont learn from this guy.

The way they work it's so familiar, it's just like people from my home town, the bold way to use tools, it's just like they have spare finger back home, when they loose one, they can put it back so they can work another day 🤣 but surely they're skilled worker.

As would i.....but only if the jointer came with a guard. And I would wear short sleeves. And I wouldnt put my hand on the table when I lean down to work with stock on the floor. Geesh. That is a very Darwin woodshop. I'm guessing there are a few guys in that town with stumpy nubs.

I've delivered hardwood to the Ashley Furniture factory in Wisconsin a couple times. I saw similar craftsmanship, although much better safety procedures in place. I was surprised how much handwork is actually done there. In this video we see the same thing without ASHA oversight.
