That build is a fun one. I have just got a sketch of an antique turning saw from a friend who is an antiquarian. He challenged me to recreate it. Greetings from Germany.

Wood By Wright oh... it’s ugly! Recycling and old reloading bench my dad built almost 30 years ago. The rest of the lumber is up cycled from a church that’s being bulldozed down the street. But, it’s a Shannon Rogers/Jay Bates/Lemograss picker/third Coast Crastsman mashup.

I never saw a turning saw nor saw it's use til I saw James saw his saw. Now I see the saw and plan to saw my own saw by the sea. See my sea saw?

What is the difference between a turning saw and a bow saw.? They look like the same thing to me, for the most part.

A turning saw is a bow saw. Bow saw is a larger category that also includes buck saws continental saws and any saw with a compressing force on the outside. Where as the frame saw has the compressing force on the inside and a frame on the outside resisting it.

Alright, Mrs. James, let's be sensitive to our non traditional couples out there. Everyone bring their significant others. That covers wives, husbands, Boy-friends, Girl-friends, and everyone else as to how they label themselves/each other.

I was the major worker for most of my life. Now that I'm the head of an empty nest, I had to go back to college. I'll have 130-150 kids to watch over every day soon enough, when I graduate and get my own middle school math classroom.
