Ok, you honestly didnt understood the movie at all.Woody chose to leave cuz he needed to be free, he felt lost with bonnie. He didn't feel the same special feeling that he had with andy. It felt different for him. Bonnie didn't care for him, she didn't even realized he was gone throughout the whole dam movie. He didn't just leave for his love, he deserved a break and he finally needed to decide something for himself. Throughout the movies we see him loyal, helping others,putting others before himself and sacrificing himself to save his friends. In ts3, he wanted to be with andy in college but he heard andy and his mom talking abt staying there for each other. He decided to stay with bonnie because he wanted to be with his friends. But after that, he was totally forgotten from bonnie over a FORK. Woody in the end decides to go back with his friends but then bim its ok to finally decide something for himself. Woody said his goodbyes to them and hey, goodbyes arent forever yk that right?? Woody is now helping other lost toys that are looking for an owner, like a super hero some might say. Rex says "is woody a lost toy now" and then buzz says "he's not lost...not anymore" Ey don't get mad over bo, she changed over those years because she went through a lot of things and rlly had to change her personality to start protecting herself and her sheep. We see her mad at woody when she lost her sheep. For example, bo peep is basically like a mom who lost her kids ( the sheep). Can u imagine how a mom acts after she lost her kids? After the argument with woody and bo, she later realizes why woody is always so loyal and why she loves him. She realized she was wrong, and decided to go back and help him. The movie was abt moving on, learning from mistakes, and forgiving each other.

@@Hiccups_l0st_l3g I mean...for the most part it feels like she's the main character and Woody is just playing second fiddle.....they did the dame in Cars 3 cause in the end McQueen forces Cruz to finish the race for him....he was a legacy character and he should've won that race....not some other car...The same happened with Incredibles 2 where Elastgirl can be pretty much considered the protagonist of the movie.....Bo was so likable in the first movie...here she just feels like one of those "women power" movies that were on peak during late 2010s

Idky people aren't realizing in the movie the toys are just as affected emotionally and physically as people to being loved by a child one day then next they're forgotten. Their purpose is to make children happy when needed but their kids are only 'temporary' bc they all eventually have to grow up and will outgrow their toys. As years go on all the new toys eventually go out of style when they're no longer "new" and it isn't always guaranteed another kid will want an old toy. Andy never stopped loving Woody, he favored Buzz for a bit bc he was new and cool but the other movies after that he still had a soft spot for Woody and still favored him bc Woody was his first toy thats been there since the beginning. Andy never stopped loving Woody and was at first going to take him with him to college but he had to grow up and gave him and the other toys up for a little girl who needed them more than he did. But after Andy was gone, yes he still had Buzz and his friends but it was never the same again, he never felt that special connection with Bonnie or any other child again since Andy. Andy will always be his special kid. He was lost after Andy and I think finding Bo Peep, he eventually found himself again. They always loved each other. People have to remember Bo Peep was probably hurting to when she had to go and learned to be strong and survive and wanted to see the world and wanted Woody to be apart of that with her and no longer being a child's temporary fun until they grow up.

@@Hiccups_l0st_l3g no. he was not lost. he had his FAMILY, he had bonnie, and HE is the one who chose to be with them in toy story 3. Bonnie not playing with him for a goddamn THREE FRICKIN DAYS out of a week does not mean he is all of a sudden lost like the movie says he is. He was perfectly happy being with Bonnie and the others for years as we see in the shorts and tv specials. it makes absolutely no sense for him to be lost. So in summary, they gaslighted the audience into thinking that things were always this way.
