Some things I learned from this vod: - always check every corner - have *time awareness*: know when an enemy has or doesn't have time to reach an angle. Can remove need to check certain corners or easily catch enemies in the open - make plays with/off your team when you are even in numbers or at an economic disadvantage - if at an economic and numbers advantage, dont push recklessly; try to *save your weapons for next round*

The problem i face is that I’ll comm, shot call, give plans, literally carry their ass and yet they don’t listen or focus up or give me the same amount of respect i give them. Doing all that shit is tiring and it drains energy. And at the end we loose the game. Everyone’s too shy to do anything and it tilts me…

how do you get past the feeling of 'oh this game was so winnable, if only my teammate didnt do this and that or if only we didnt have an afk' etc just had a very close very winnable game that we lost and i cant shake the feeling of 'if my kayo didnt postround-teamkill me right before the end and i got to keep my gun instead of being too poor to buy a new one, that game could have been ours' and it's so frustrating

One thing i learned is either flame them if they are playuing on a rank that they don't belong because it's obvouis to know if someone is elo boosted or not , or just ignore their existence

I feel super called out. 😢 I have close to 5K competitive hours and i’m still stuck plat. This is the first FPS game i take seriously, and am feeling discouraged after being told by every other guide out there that the way you get better is to “just play more”

i have 1067 hrs too and i play like that i mean not exactly like that but the issues are: 1. when im fighting a person, i get 100% focused on that person and i lose awareness of angles and if im fighting 2 persons which are on different angles, i lose almost all focus on the other one 2. i mostly shoot while moving in panic if i see enemy, to get to the nearest cover 3. my crosshair placement is shit

Hooj, I’m trying to learn piano and when you said “always looking at their hands and never using their ring fingers” worries me because I look at my hands, and I don’t know what you mean by using the ring fingers. Do you mean using the ring fingers play in general, or use them to guide your hand to the proper keys? Please help :)

Not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing, but yes, after watching the banana, I have learnt to blindly follow comms from teammates when they sound so confident in what they are saying and then dying to it HAHA Even when I saw the guy on site, but teammate told me "HE'S IN B MAIN! NOT IN SITE YET!" and I trusted that and died and we lost the round XD

Had a two throwers yesterday. We were winning big time. Like 9-3, and I guess the curse is real. They started throwing at that point, I was too bad and lost but got match mvp fortunately This fade and deadlock, and they were saying n word a one to many times. I’ll exclude Deadlock from this bc fade was far worse, and the game was unplayable and unwinnable it seemed. So this fade would insta grab spike and sit in our spawn or just run balls deep to their spawn halfway through the round and die with spike. The whole time while comming to the enemy in all chat about our locations and positions and even where we were facing! This fade even stayed spawn one round with spike and said in all chat, I’m in spawn with spike, don’t kill me, just play time on sites together, while continuing to eat each one of us out through all chat. I know I should’ve muted earlier, but I’m not even sure what the play is at that point, you can’t run, you can’t hide, and killing them was the only way to win a round, but they can hide bc they know where we are! We only won one round since they started throwing. I’ve thought about it and assumed the best action I could take is if this happens is try to preserve my combat score and get match mvp to reduce rank loss as much as possible. Classic valorant iron and bronze experience 😢😂

Even if you call something absolutely stupid and absurd that would throw the round, if your team doesn't follow it, it's not your fault (source: I made it the f*** up)

sometimes if u comm ur teammates to swing with u ... it scares em if they will be able to trade u or not nd what they think is you will be furious on em nd shout on them for not trading ,which eventually decreases their confidence therefore resulting as them having bad aim nd gunplay (comming too much in elo less than ascendent , scares ur teammates that they will be judged on not being able to do the correct even after getting the comm)(as you can see in the vod phnx aksed omen to flash, but omen wasnt able to do it the correct way, which will result omen questioning himself and thereby decrease in confidence)

tbh I'm plat and my entire climb through gold I playcall and my duo midrounds, I'd say 99.8% of my players listen to at LEAST the first play I call, and people always listen to my duos midrounds. Even when the plays are crackhead dumb. I load into lotus playing harbor and say "I'm gonna push B long with wall, I want the players with the biggest nuts to swing w me" and no instalock duelist has said no, even though that play is absolutely horrendous and returns negative more than 70% of the time
