@@anthonyewell3470 I love him for that. Every time i feel i start to blame my raw aim for my losses he reminds me of how i’m actually supposed to play valorant. Then my raw aim actually improves when i play correctly lmao. He reminds me of myself so i feel confident when i play comp. I know i can only be so mad at myself and holding a grudge towards teammates or enemies is genuinely futile.

I'm so confused how I even hit Diamond without knowing about this stuff. I'm not even sure I knew what "trade" meant, I was constantly taking 50s BY MYSELF ON PURPOSE and gaining elo. I'm so grateful to Wooj for making this info so accessible and entertaining to watch, but I almost wish I could go back! There's so much to think about now I actually play worse! Here's hoping my "integration" period ends shortly. ;-)

This is why i hate playing jett. We dont have a drone, i have to be first contact, half the time i die to an off angle before even getting on site, we lose the round and somehow i get blamed for dying first. This is why i main controller. I can just bait my team or lurk and no one will complain about it as long as i smoke.

After watching Hooj I’m trying to be more conscious about pattern recognition. I was playing with my op-loving friend yesterday and he usually holds map edges. I made him swap with me to a mid angle cus I noticed 1-2 enemies dry peeked it immediately the last three rounds. He got first bloods off of that for the rest of the half 😂

Hooj, as a low elo player that has trouble identifying habits of the opponents, is it a good idea to note them on paper to remember what they did each round of the game ?

just my thoughts but don't write down every habit since not every player does the same things. write down maybe the most common mistakes you see multiple people do on a certain agent or something like a bad position enemies like to play that can give you an advantage. or certain rotations people make. Since you wanna be able to predict the enemy you don't wanna hyper focus on a single persons playstyle (in terms of improvement) you wanna take away the few keen mistakes they made. then you figure out counters and can punish those enemies in different matches when they do similar things.

Sinatraa is kindof weird he does things auto-pilot and it seems like he does most of the things right coz he is usually getting frags, but idk we have to think conciously to do some of things he does but maybe he doesn't have to it's like second nature to him.
