I love the way woohoojin talks about enemy perspective all the time. Its such an important factor to find a way to be an annoying opponent. As a asc yoru main I think fake cloning and fake TPs only works if its legit from enemy perspective. So it gave me a turbo boost from plat1 to asc2 just being an annoying opponent. Hooj is a master class coach, the goat

I sit on C site with cypher on logs quite often lol. I usually pop a cage and spray through it once they run into my trips. The cage also covers close so people that push out of CT will only have to worry about the long angle instead of the short one in Garage. Works great!

Cypher's kit does let you gather a lot of free easy kills, even in high elo lobbies. If you're getting many easy kills and staying alive on top of that, you're doing it better than many of my Ascendant Cypher teammates!

I've been lacking on the hooj vids, and my rank has been kinda stagnating down in Silver, I'm gonna make sure to binge your stuff to get my mind back to a winning mindset

The biggest thing for silver is consistent practice. Honestly just pick an agent, do the gold guide for a week and make that your soul focus, and then keep doing the gold guide while learning more. I went down the rabbit hole of watching all the hooj vids before, and this is the way out of the trap of learning before you can mechanically keep up with your knowledge. If you can't mechanically keep up with your knowledge you won't actually gain game sense, and next time you take a break from hooj videos you're going to de-rank again.

YOOOOO update time So I've decided to try two things: - w for movement and melee pullout bind to unlearn diagonal strafing. Got me a DM match immeadiately my first time with a FAR lead - swapping around my sens and dpi. Im trying 2000 dpi 0.3 sens (600edpi) as I'm gradually going lower and lower. It's smooth and pretty cool! Lost three games so am back to 0/100 plat 💀 Which means I'm back to where I started Dec 7 (that day I won three games) Wish me luck!!!!! Gonna hope for big wins!!!! And not just big wins, good performance!!! (Match MVP/Team MVP/Positive)

@@Precipiceofwind im not though but it is what I've been playing for a LOOOONG time I played ep1act2, took a two year break, and did on and off ep6 and ep7 I ranked up from bronze to plat in FOUR WEEKS after coming back from a two month break at 1250-1500 edpi 😭

⁠@@ProfessionaINoobIsn’t that too low though hah? It’s recommended to have an edpi between 190-408, lower than that and you won’t really learn how to use your wrist in aiming- ALSO HOW DO YOU EVEN QUICKLY TURN TOWARDS AN ENEMY BEHIND YOU????? I’m genuinely confused that seems so low haha

Finally got to gold Hooj!! Took more than a month, definitely (not really complaining given I play with a steady 140 ping 😂), but I realise taking breaks from playing all together is just as important for improvement, I think. Took a week off, came back, and won every silver 3 game till I ranked up. Thanks for the videos, man! Started from bronze 1 last act

set your sensitivity to 4 turn on firing error for your crosshair and play an agent you've never played before. you're gonna rank up 5 divisions trust me

Hi! I'm an omen player who struggles with the peek on C as well- could I do the logs play in the intro as well using tp? Or would the fact that I tped put them on higher alert and make it a less favourable spot?

of course you could! the tp would be a bit laggier than a raze satchel however (in regards to having your gun out) and the tp particles telegraph that you will appear there beforehand, so the Jett might spot that coming out of their own smoke. You could pair it with paranoia or some other teammates piece of util to draw their attention away from it. You could do the smoke between plat and default to make them think you’re in it for example, so they’re less sus of the logs tp. But yeah it would work.

It's a carry over from CounterStrike. Many Val players started there, and the game shares many structural similarities. CT is referring to the defender side spawn in a bomb map, you will also hear the sheriff referred to as DEagle, a reference to the dessert eagle, again the comparable weapon in counterstrike.

Is yhere something one can do to remove inconsistency? I am in college so cant play a lot daily and also on a work laptop so that mught also be an issue. Sometimes I am able yo somewhat carry the guys I play through some initial rounds while other times I dont have a dingle kill untill next half
