WoopyFlyのフリーフライトをSET茨城の協力の講習バーンでテストさせていただきました。操作は極めてハンググライダーに似ていますが、ちょっとだけちがうてんがありますが、ハングパイロットであれば、数回のフライトで慣れてしまいます。

Awesome project! Very clever. I like that its fly envelope is very docile. Slow flight and a very forgiving stall speed and AOA. Would love to fly one :-) Congratulations!

Hello you guys! What a marvelous hang glider you have there. The next step should be to go up not just down. The easiest way to do this is to ride sore. Ride soring is done by launching yourself off a steep ridge into the wind. (Not a cliff) and then turning parellel to the ridge you have just left. Fly along the ridge till you feel the lift weakning, then turn away from the ride and come back to the same path you have just flown and proceed back to where you started. By doing this backwards and forwards along the ridge and keeping close to the ridge in the lift you will gain height and lengthen your flight, and have loads of fun. Beware of trees that jump out at you, you are not a bird looking for somewhere to roost. Remember always turn away from the ridge, never towards it. If you make this mistake you will crash. I really hope you understand my english, or have some way of translating it into your language. I wish you every success and hope you have tons of fun with your aeroplane. Fun is what hang gliding is all about.

Looking at your video may I suggest you use a steeper scoperte and fly the thing a bit faster. With more speed come more control. Your last flight you looked clearly out of control. Thank goodness you got away with it and didn't crash. Best of luck and get flying.

Need more tail volume. You can probably handle pitch instability but you are at the mercy of even small gusts that will destroy directional stability. I have been there, done that. Have fun.

Its the "breeze" that goes up the mountain that gives more lift to the wing... I dont think there is helium in it... Why would they make a wing if they use helium?

I see you have a spar running through the centre .(Inflateable Flying Wing) A suggestion to an early inflatable glider I built 25ft x 10 foot centre section 2ft 6 inch through Pilot position 2 foot from front ,Fitted around pilot as a may west, Fit the spar below the wing allowing all uplift to hold shape Original glider (Not Good) was built with only Orange farm plastic sheeting and Gaffa tape, Draw back rise in temperature allowed ribbing brake down, Sorry no Photos.

Anything gains height if sucked up in a thermal. I've been in a glider thermalling away and seen a corn plant go past me at 6000 feet.

This is very unlikly as birds are shit scared of birds bigger than they are. So there is little to no chance of a crash. Just got to watch out for these pesky trees that always waiting to grab you.
