Hi there, is it possible to put a sort/filter option on the top of the gallery? in case if I want to put couple of hundreds of photos, so the visitor don't have to look them trough, they just select the category they like and the gallery narrows down itself to the selected categories? And also would it be possible when a visitor sees a pic they like with a button they are getting transferred to the webshop to buy it? thank you for your answer in advance, Balazs

Hi Theo and James-you are an awesome guide with this plugin. I waited a while until they released a version that appears "tested" with the latest Wordpress version and it finally came out last week! Nonetheless, I'm experiencing some difficulties in getting it to work properly via the Beaver Builder tool. Two major things seem to be missing: all the gallery options you get when you click the green icon (for there is no such green next-gen button through BeaverBuilder) and second, my ability to sort the galleries also seems curtailed, for although I go to the manage galleries tab and use the sort options, it doesn't seem to affect the way the gallery is displayed through BeaverBuilder. Any light you could shine on this would be fantastic as I am a bit stuck with it but I don't want to give up!

Does NextGen allow you to link from a photo to a page or blog post? Does it allow you to have blog followers/viewers click on an image and download a PDF file in response to the clicking of a gallery image?

hi James, im trying to add a signle picture, out of a galery, however, in front end when i click on the image, the pop up window is not appearing, it send me to a multimedia url instead. does this has a solution?

James, I downloaded NG but when I try to edit the thumbnail all I get is a pop up screen thats white? Cant you edit the thumbnails in the free version?

How do you get out of a thumbnail view? Mine seem to not have a close button or a fwd/bkwd button

Really frustrated with nextgen. Firstly, I did not realize that unless you live in the United States, you cannot use the automatic photo print service. This should really be corrected so that images could be sold both in the US and the UK. Now that I've spent the money, I cannot find a video that shows me how I can use it to sell digital automatic download and print (via my getting them printed for the customer). I'm hoping you can help as I feel like I might as well have just made a simple gallery and told people to contact me if they want to buy an image.

hi, Thanks for the video. I have a couple of questions if it is ok. I tried "NextGEN Basic Extended Album" as a display type and keep getting error messsages. Do you happen to know why? And I also tried their Voting plugin. It sounds great but it is not working at all. Maybe you can help me or make another tutorial for this? The developer's explanation is so confusing. In the developer's tutorial, he says that I need to paste some code to the Display Template, but I don't know where it is.
