How do I create a WordPress website?
You need web hosting first and I would recommend getting a custom domain name. Once you have your website hosting plan, you can install WordPress for free. All you need to do is download the latest version of WordPress from here: wordpress.org/.... Then, you can install WordPress on your web host, install a theme, and set-up your website.
How do I create a free WordPress website?
You can get started with a free plan at wordpress.com/, but there are major limitations. You can still create a beautiful website, but it will use a WordPress domain name and it will have ads on the page. I would recommend investing a small amount of money to get a domain name and a web hosting plan with Bluehost, HostGator, or another provider and then installing WordPress.
How much does it cost to create a WordPress website?
It can cost as low as $3/month with the right web host.
Can I have 2 websites on WordPress?
Yes, once you have a hosting plan you can create multiple WordPress websites. Some hosting plans, especially dedicated hosting plans, have enough resources to host 5-10 WordPress websites that get traffic and have a lot of files.
Is WordPress hard to learn?
It takes time to learn the WordPress platform, but it is something that you will learn very quickly. In addition, there are advanced options in WordPress that you can learn as you continue to learn WordPress.
Is WordPress easy to use?
Yes, there is a learning curve, but within a week or two you will get used to the platform and after several months of use it will become second nature to use WordPress.
Is a WordPress website free?
You can create a free WordPress website, but you are better off making a small investment to host your WordPress website and pick out a custom domain name.

If I'm talking too fast throughout the video, you can go to the video settings and slow down the playback speed to 0.95x or 0.9x to slow me down a bit. I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago, it would have saved me some major frustration. Great tutorial! I didn't really get how page and posts worked, and the menus. I'm glad you explained about static homepages with separate blog. My site is hosted on Network Solutions so the install and database section was irrelevant for my situation, the rest was spot on. Now I think I understand how WP works a lot better. Showing the outline of the tutorial was so thoughtful too. Best tutorial I've seen on this - great job!

I am new at this and hoping that my millennial children will assist me this weekend...tough to start a website during the pandemic since I cannot get together with people who I know can help me. Well done. I was a deer in headlights when first looking at the Wordpress Dashboard. Now I have a pretty good grasp of the very basics. However, I did come to your tutorial after using another which had me using a third party website to build the Wordpress website. That website had me using elementor as the editor. It was super confusing because I was bouncing back and forth between elementor, the third party website, and the Wordpress dashboard (at least that is what think I was doing :-). It had me import an existing website and edit that? BTW - I did like the website it had me import. All of this to ask - do you feel that I am better off in the long run doing the website from scratch, or building it using something like Elementor?

I was able to follow this video step by step up until logging into my newly created Bluehost account. The main page looks 100% different than what you show in your video and it seems there's no need to "install" Wordpress, but now I'm lost and don't know what to follow.... Did this update dramatically in the last 2 weeks or did I do something wildly different??

Hi. On the step at minute 20:34, instead of showing me the WordPress window that lets you choose a language option it leads me to a page that says "403 Forbidden. I am getting a new laptop and considering improving my microphone again and upgrading to Camtasia 2019. For my older videos, I used a basic headset microphone and iMovie, which I regret not improving sooner.

😎👍Who ever liked my comment the problem have been solved even though I had to pay damn near $300 for it to be fixed and it wasn't WordPress that fixed the problem so thanks alot WordPress team for me having to spend money that easily could of been saved by you guys returning my phone calls and emails smh...
