Have admired this guy for years. Practical down to earth. So skilled, so smart! I patterned some of my coaching to some Woodenisms. Never mentioned winning to my kids. They aren't there to lose. Work on basics. Work on we not me. Funny how they come around when they get treated like humans and not being constantly berated. John Wooden is an all time great.

What a shame that there are only about 17,000 views on this and there is so much trash on the KZfaq with 90 million views. What a world it would be if those numbers were reversed. Coach wooden was a wonderful man who made everyone feel like they were the most special person in the world.
