I have done this all my life, and always got men chasing me by being unavailable or less approachable but from my experience its not good when you are dating as it comes off as rude or not fully invested/interested, people who are looking for something serious don't like it when they have to try so much. humans hate complicated shit!

Not agreeing to everything she says and not being always available are basic behaviors I would expect all guys to know. However, those behaviors alone will not make her to chase you. In conversations with high quality women this behavior is expected from you. Beside that, I don't like the concept of a funnel to get many women in. There are not enough cute, available women around to make the dating process an event where you can choose the best girl. I'm doing research for a book I am writing on the availability of high quality women, and the numbers suggest that you do not have the time to go through a long dating process. They are never really single, at most for a few days in rare cases. Either you are quick or you might be eliminated from the gene pool.
