Hi Folks, My husband and I ordered a tiny home from RRC / HomeCo in Cumby, Texas last October. It was delivered to our lot April 2. So far, it has been an overall positive experience. When I get more time this week, I plan to post an in-depth review on Google Maps ... HomeCo ... Cumby, Texas. We ordered the Athens Park Model APX-150, no loft, with vaulted ceilings. I will explain in detail about the process, our upgrades, why we chose that model, etc.

I'm retired and could easily live in this home... now IF only I can find just a small piece of affordable land to put it on.

I like the home, but all the tiny homes lack closet space (ie, for coats, mop and broom, vacuum cleaner, or whatever). Pls try to squeeze one more small closet in somewhere. Love your videos. There's another guy trying to sorta copy what you do on KZfaq for his mobile homes sales. Didn't realize how awesome you actually were until I watched one of his videos. Takes a lot of talent for you to make it look so effortless.

Can't live in a tiny home. But I like to see the creativity of how small space is used.

I love this floor plan. It’s pretty perfect. The only thing I would change is that closet configuration in the bedroom. The doors just don’t open wide enough with that style for me. Mr. Tiny, you made me smile so big with that little line from “The Help”. That’s one of my very favorite movies ❤️

I absolutely love this Melrose tiny home!! Love the high bedroom ceiling, the extra storage and Porch....close to perfect....

Once again, I have to mention the living room windows. The clerestory windows on the wall with the TV is fine.......BUT.....if you raise the windows on the front and sofa side, you won't need clerestory windows over there. Having to bend over the sofa every day to open those windows is not what I want to do. I also don't want my upholstery to fade in the sunlight. Please, raise the windows up to a "normal" height.

I love the central loft area you put in the Melrose, and the desk area. A swing on the front porch would be splendid. Keep up the great work.

I am loving the loft placement. High ceilings in the living room and bedroom but you still have he loft. I LOVE it. This may be my top choice for layout.

I absolutely Love this floor plan! The stairs add character the way they change direction but would be awesome if you could open them up some and add the storage drawers… you thought of everything with this one!

This one is just about perfect! The camera work seemed different this video though. Like it didn’t pan out enough to show the full room size.

I love the thoughtfulness of this tiny home design. The entertainment center looks great, and I like the fact that you can fit a full-sized couch and then some in the living area. A dedicated space for a dining table can't really be expected in a home like this, so the eat-in bar is a nice touch. I like the fact that there's a built-in desk. However, it looks a little too small to me unless you're working from home on a laptop. I would get rid of the left half of the pantry to extend that workspace so that it could accommodate a full-sized PC and monitor. The side-by-side fridge/freezer is a good thing to see in a tiny home. The raised ceiling height in the shower is nice, as is the high placement of the showerhead. This isn't really a criticism of this home -- just tiny homes in general. The fact that the washer/dryer space is almost always boxed in really limits what you can put there. In this home in particular, I would get rid of the right side of that washer/dryer enclosure just to free up a little more space for a slightly bigger stackable setup. I think my favorite part of this home is the loft. I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't need or want a massive loft, especially if it encroaches on the vertical space in the bedroom. But maybe they still want a loft for storage or for a single sleeping space, and this looks perfect for that.

Very creative way of fitting in a designated desk... A very functional floorplan ... Likes the eat in kitchen! Fits a lot of check list!

I like it Mr. Tiny! I like the loft in the middle. However, the closets need to be larger. Place the dresser in the closet. Place tv jacks on the other walls or have the TV mounted above the closet somehow so it could drop down when needed for viewing.

I really like this floor plan. I would extend the inside living space in the living room by 3ft & move the door between the living room & stairs. I also love LOTS of windows and would either make some larger & operable or add 2-3 more 😃

Love the L-shaped stairs and desk area but, I need a bigger loft. Can I extend it over the bedroom so I have 2 areas... one for storage and one for sleeping. I don't need high ceilings in the bedroom I'm lying down in there! 😆 The Melrose is one of the nicest homes you have featured.

I'm still not sure about the full size appliances for temporary or weekend living, but even full time living, I think I would like a counter depth fridge so you don't knock your elbows on the handles as you go by.

Another awesome tiny home!!

Shame the loft is so short. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I would like to use it as office/crafting area. Having it tall enough to accommodate me (5'7") while sitting at a desk would be enough. As is, would have to go with larger place, though I really like this a lot.

Why don't you all ever put lofts in the single section models? Or wood fireplaces inside tiny homes or more tub/shower combos because while you can take a shower in a bathtub, you can't take a bath is a shower so why not both? So many questions!

could you put a bathtub in the bathroom? everything looks amazing but a tub in a non-negotiable for me 🙂

Great design, but I agree with someone who mentioned counter-depth appliances. I'd also add a cabinet door on the bar side to access the corner cabinet space. If you want to keep the appearance of a clean look/hidden door without someone hitting their knee on a door handle, use a push to open/magnetic closure. Final suggestion, or question; how does anyone reach those windows over 8 feet from the floor to actually ventilate with them?

I have a suggestion for you, I am a quilter and I know there are a lot of us out there. The loft would be a perfect spot to sew. Maybe you could suggest this on one of your videos. We live in a motor home, eventually we are going to purchase a parkmodel. We will stay fulltime in the Rio Grande Valley.

I just need a fireplace and it would be perfect!
