That's actually not an error, new users start off with limited tabs until they progress further into Appen and complete some projects or are in the middle of completing projects! Just go ahead and start applying to projects.

The amount you can make per month depends on which project you're on with Appen. Some projects are short, and do not pay routinely, but others can give you a nice continuous paycheck
