A senior citizen, having very little work in excel. I watch you as I like your presentation. Definitely at this age I will not remember all these shortcuts but I definitely remember and use Ctrl+1. Thanks

Control 8 is useful to hide outline grouping without actually getting rid of it- toggle Control 8 and it reappears. Handy when presenting to maximize screen size- control shift F1 is also useful for this. (Hides toolbar- it’s a toggle aswell)

Ctrl+d and ctrl+r are very useful. Also, similar to ctrl+1, try F2. Formula edit, comment edit, etc

Hey chandeep One shortcut i use a lot is, after pressing alt + down arrow, press e to directly go on the search bar and you can search what you want to filter or press down arrow one more time after pressing e, and then start typing the word you wanna filter for, it will take you directly to that value, that way you don't have to wait for the excel to actually load the values.

Chandeep, the opposite of CTRL+0 is CTRL+SHIFT+0 (Columns), the same as for 9 and the rows. PS: most of these functions have buttons for your QAT and then you can access them with a single mouse-click. Endusers tend to like that a lot more than shortcuts or key sequences (ALT,…). Having said that,I use many (not all) of these shortcuts, too (not the ALT key sequences, though).

That location of the ` must be in an english keyboard, I guess. In Spain we have that afther the P (to the right of the P), same key as for brackets [ but holding shift key first. By they way, does anyone know if there is an equivalent to control+enter in sheets?

This isn't a shortcut, but a tip I haven't seen after watching literally thousands of Excel videos. When working with a table created by Power Query, by default in the Table Properties the External Table Data group, the setting "Preserve column sort/filter/layout" is enabled by default. That means that if you've set any filters or sorting that is contrary to sorting or all data from the Query, they will not be cleared when the data is refreshed. This was driving me crazy on tables I used daily and always wanted the sort to be what was set in the query and see all the data. To allow a table to always display all of the data and in the query's sort order, just uncheck that item in the Table's Properties, and then a Refresh will clear all filters and resort the table. It's worth noting that in spite of the table being sorted by the Query, if the table was sorted by a different column before the Refresh, that column will retain the Up/Down arrow that indicates it's the sorted column when it's actually not!
