We are using this technique in our kiln, but i think it is not that much efficient as compared to zig zag pattern kilns. How much will it cost to convert our kiln to zig zag? BTW thank you very much for providing a very good explanation on how things work behind the scenes.

@prasannakumar Cool air is not sent into the kiln, the cool air get sucked into because hot air is continuously leaving the chimney. Since hot air left the kiln, that space is filled by the cold air.

@@Bhaveshsw i have a question that if we burn biomass of agriculture waste instead of traditional coal or firewood, wont we get subsidy under the recent laws made by central government. Jese thermal power plant k lie bolre ki use biomass and subsidy and tax concession will be given. Proper hankari chahie ki ky ye bhatte se bhi related h bricks k?
