When you first found out about working on a super yacht, you might have thought you'd be spending all your time travelling the world. While that may be the case when working on some superyachts, there is a much greater chance that you'll be spending a lot of your yacht crew life based in the same port or marina.
In this video you're going to find out why that might be the case; and, how this can in fact benefit your super yacht career. Life as a yacht deckhand or yacht stewardess whilst in port may not be quite as exciting as you were expecting, but you will be carrying out your yacht crew duties for less hours of the day, and as a result there will be more time for YOU.
That's right, your yacht crew lifestyle doesn't have to be all work and no play! There is a happy medium to be found during these extended periods of downtime, balancing yacht work with the needs of your mind and body. That way, when the yacht does get used you'll be highly motivated and focused to perform at your best.
